The New Sports Hall in Falzè, promoted by the Municipality of Trevignano (TV), was conceived to provide the area with a modern, multi-purpose sports facility, compliant with CONI regulations to host official volleyball and basketball competitions as well as public events such as concerts and performances.
Located on Via Cavour, next to the middle school and existing sports facilities, the new building integrates harmoniously into the urban context, enhancing the area and expanding the community's access to quality sports infrastructure.
The project includes a main sports hall measuring 33x28 meters with a 350-seat grandstand, and support areas (changing rooms, services, technical rooms) arranged in an L-shaped layout. A strong focus is placed on sustainability and energy efficiency, with the integration of photovoltaic panels, recyclable materials, controlled mechanical ventilation, and high-efficiency systems.
From an architectural and structural standpoint, the building combines prefabricated concrete and glulam timber elements, offering a contemporary and distinctive design. The interior and exterior finishes are selected for their functionality, comfort, and durability.
In addition to meeting the needs of local sports clubs, the facility will serve the nearby school community and become a new venue for cultural and social events.
