This project aims to enhance a traditional stone structure in the hills of Fasano, surrounded by olive groves, by transforming it into two independent homes: one for the owners and one for guests. The intervention preserves the historical identity of the building — composed of trulli and casedde dating back to the early 1900s — and integrates a new contemporary volume in exposed tuff, arranged in an L-shape with the original structure. Large windows, local materials, and minimal details define bright and functional spaces, balancing tradition and innovation.

The living area opens onto the garden and pool, while the sleeping quarters are housed in the restored trulli and casedde. The guest house, fully autonomous, occupies the northern trulli. Outdoor spaces include gazebos, a shower, a traditional oven, and paving in local stone, washed concrete, and wood decking, designed for comfort and conviviality. The project incorporates sustainable solutions such as photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting, LED lighting, and a smart home system, ensuring energy efficiency and residential well-being. An integrated sound and lighting system enhances evenings by the pool, completing the living experience.
